| Grow up the middle of three kids was not always the easiest thing to do for Carter Trenton, while he had amazing relationship with his older sister Ariel the same could not be said for his younger brother Nathan. Moving around a lot made it extremely for Carter to make friends eventually it got to the point he stopped trying, becoming guarded and untrusting of most people. What really boiled his blood was easy it was for Nathan, no matter the city or people he would quickly become the most popular kid at school. Ariel on the other hand was more like Carter, private and very cautious around people. Their relationship when only grow stronger when Carter's powers emerged.
His one saving grace was sports he was an amazing athlete started Running Back and Safety for his football team, Point Guard for his basketball team, plus the Shortstop for his baseball team. However, all the changed the first time he got anger and his body burst into flames, thankfully he was at home and mad at his brother when it happened. Carter's sister was able to calm him down and get his flames to disappear. He worked hard day in and day out with his father on controlling his power the hardest thing was also control his temper for the anger he got the hotter the flames and greater the burn. Having a power where you can turn into the sun any time, he would mad made sports impossible, he could not the run risk of hurting someone all because something pissed him off.
Focusing on education he worked hard to get into Drexel where after graduating he would become a Paramedic for the city. He loved his job something new every day, being able to help people in one of worst moment of their lives. It was also because of the job that he meet the love his life Angela Hernandez, for him it was love at first. It would take some time for her to warm up to him but once she realized the inside matched the out, they could not be without each other.
But he still had an inch that he needed to scratch through the years he started to really gain control of his powers. He realized his anger only intensified the heat and shape of the flames but through focus he decided if and what things burned. To really gain control of his emotions he began to steady martial arts where he would strengthen his body, powers and mind. He would spend a few years learning to control it all but once he did he started to see his powers as gift and not curse.
While he loved his job, being there for people at the worst times of their life started not to be enough especially when in some cases the person responsible for these horrific acts were never punished for one reason or another. He soon realized that while Carter Trenton could be there to help heal them physically, Nova could help them by being there avenging angel.
